My background
My experience
I have dabbled in crafts my whole life ( I am old, so that's a long time). Ten years ago I started working as an event planner for an art organization and I realized how much I love surrounding myself with beauty and color. That is when I really started concentrating on crafts and art. I go in search of new projects all pretty much daily. I have found it to be my happy place.
I dabble in photography, designing sassy greeting cards, painting, repurposing, upcycling, journal making and so many other things.
My vision
I try to use supplies that are bound for the landfill and make them beautiful again. Old books that are tattered and torn, I use their pages to make my roses, old wooden boxes that have seen better days get refinished into something useful again. Not everything I do is upcycled, but I try to make as much as I can from things that people view as not useful anymore. Giving them new life is fun and rewarding.
